The Tartan

The Crawford clan is from the highest points of Lanarkshire and is recorded from the mid-12th century. The mother of the Scottish Patriot Sir William Wallace was a Crawford.

The Dress

This is a beautiful tartan wrap dress handmade in the Highlands of Scotland. It features gathers reminiscent of the old traditional Filibeg Highland dress and neat pleats to gather and add shape at the back. Given its wrap and long tie fastening, it flatters and fits a variety of body sizes and shapes and can be worn to suit the occasion.

100% lightweight wool from Loch Carron.

The Model

The model in pictures is 5″7 and a size 8/10.

Additional Information

As each dress is made to order, I am more than happy to take requests for the tartan; please contact me. There is a wee bit of flexibility for length, etc., but I am limited by the size of the cloth! It is 100% wool, so while the dress likes a good press, please only dry clean this garment!
